Shuttle

Today we got one of the benefits of living in Clear Lake: The shuttle, on the way from Edwards to Kennedy, made a low-altitude flyover of Ellington Field and JSC. Since we happen to live, and I work, in between those two places, we got a good chance to see it (Actually, Dee was busy, and I don't know if the kids got to see it at school or not...).

Best of all, since I happened to have my camera here at work (in order to get the snow pictures for the previous post), I got some good pictures. Here's a couple of them. I imagine that for my family, like me, these will bring back a lot of memories of Lancaster...

And as a note, I really recommend clicking on the pictures to see them full size. It's much clearer, and you get a nice view of the T-38s...

Yes I remember that so well. Amazing that you got it on camera. The boys liked those.
