Apollo Eleven

I realize that I'm the only member of my family who was not alive for the moon landing. Nonetheless, I did grow up with the space program as a major portion of my childhood, what with the shuttle and all. And I do happen to be living in an area where the 40th anniversary of the moon landing is a big deal, you could say.

So, I wanted to take a moment to mention my appreciation for all those who put so much effort into making the moon landing possible. I hope that our country never fully loses the desire to learn and attempt great things, even things that seem impossible.

I'm grateful for all those innovative minds, also! If everyone thought like me, we'd still be living in caves!
