Yesterday the League City Texas Stake was created. It consists of the Galveston, League City, South Shore, Clear Lake 1st, Clear Lake 2nd, Broadway 1st and Pasadena 1st wards, as well as the Lehi (Spanish) and Kemah (Spanish) branches. The new stake president is Weldon Reeves.
In addition, one branch moved from the Houston Texas East stake to the Friendswood stake, and two wards moved from the Kingwood stake to the Houston Texas East stake.

Weldon, huh? Who wouldv'e thought when he was a goofy kid! So where did you end up? I don't know what ward you are in so the list didn't help.
Sorry, I thought everyone knew. We are in the Clear Lake 1st Ward, so we are in the new stake. In fact, Weldon lives in our ward.
For those of us who know him now, it is not at all surprising.

Yes, Weldon has been the second counselor in the stake presidency for the last year.
He was a goofy kid but a good kid, and so were his parents so it doesn't surprise me either.
