Snow!

I know this isn't that exciting for a lot of you, but it is now snowing for the second year in a row in Houston, and the third year out of five. This is probably the heaviest out of the three, and I believe it is the earliest recorded snow in Houston (so was last year at the time, but this is a week earlier).

Jessie is ecstatic. Of course, it's a bit of a difficulty for the plans for her birthday party tomorrow, which included a lot of outdoor stuff... And of course today's the day the Louisiana contingent is driving here, so that's not the best.

Yet more evidence that global warming is a myth. :) Happy Birthday to Jessie on Monday!

And we have our nice brown grass and clean roads! I guess that might change tomorrow! Hope Jessie's birthday is still fun! Happy Birthday Jessie!

I heard that Houston got snow...crazy! I hope things work out for the birthday party! We had all of Tanner's parties (he had four parties over the years) at the beginning of December and always planned them indoors since we didn't expect to have good weather that time of year. As it turned out, we could have held both his 3rd and his 5th birthday parties outdoors because it was so warm those days. So for his 8th birthday party I planned some treasure hunts outdoors (it was a pirate party) and then--or course!--that day it was rainy and cold! The kids didn't care, though--they still had fun!
